Proposed Amendments to the Council’s Scheme for the Establishment of ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ Councils
Notice is hereby given, that ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ and Bute Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 53 (1) of the above mentioned Act, proposes amendments to the Scheme for the Establishment of ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ Councils.
A special meeting of the Council, held on 24 April 2025, agreed to conduct a public consultation exercise on the proposed amendments to the Scheme to be held over two 8 week consultation periods.
The proposed amendments to the Scheme for the Establishment of ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ Councils and Associated Documentation may be examined below. Hard copies of the documents may be requested by contacting communitycouncils@argyll-bute.gov.uk or by calling 01546 604331.
How to make comments on the proposed amendments
Any person or organisation wishing to make written representations on the proposed amendments should address them to communitycouncils@argyll-bute.gov.uk or by post to Melissa Stewart, ÂìÒϸ£Àûµ¼º½ Council Liaison Officer, Kilmory, Lochgilphead, PA31 8RT within a period of 8 weeks from publication of this Notice (No later than 22 June 2025).
